The Great Escape: Cappadocia-Turkey & Tromso-Norway 2

Good morning folks.

Kami menghabiskan masa di atas rooftop hampir 2 jam basking in the glory of man made fireflies which was breathtakingly mesmerizing. Shimah was, for lack of a better word, captivated by the beauty of everything that cappadocia has to offer and it was just only the beginning of an amazing days ahead. As for Kak Mah, she was busy seizing every moment available via her camera-phone. Hopefully it turns out beautiful.

This very rooftop has a lot of 'photo bombs' and to that we were very glad that we had successfully lose ourselves to the beauty of foreign land...well small town that is...huhu

After hundreds of selfies photos, it was now the time for a brekkie. The hotel restaurant would only open at 8.30 am. as so we would freshened up prior to that.

The food were excellente' (with italian pronunciation) but the taste was rather 'a ok' with no capital 'O'. The cook / waiters were ever friendly and immediately we felt like we were at home. There were many type of cheese served  and you will be spoilt for choice...too bad Mr. yours truly not a big fan to it. Kak Mah did help herself and so did Shimah. Enjoy guys!!

Usai sarapan pagi kami segera bergerak menuju ke pekan Cappadocia yang mengambil masa hanya kurang dari 2 minit berjalan kaki. Pagi ini, Kak Mah dan Shimah merancang untuk survey or perhaps getting themselves some nice quilt/bed runner or simply bed cover for their ever interior deco escapade back in Malaysia. I was, just being a professional photographer, capturing every precious moments available.

We stopped at the largest carpet shop in Cappadocia town and being greeted with a smile from Uncle Muhammad. Uncle Muhammad was in his early 70s and he was still hardworking like a youth. Bravo Uncle Muhammad. May your days filled with happiness and glories. Insyaallah. I found out that Uncle Muhammad do provide drone services for aerial photoshoot inside his shop. Feel free to experience it with minimal cost for that exquisite result!! Instagram instant glam!!

Aunty Embroidery a.k.a Mrs. Aysel Aslan
It all started with Kak Mah was looking for a poncho like sweater and we were looking for it at the best price available. On the hunting spree, we stopped at a particular shop just because we were fascinated by the display of souvenirs in front of this particular shop and one moment led to another, we found ourselves inside the shop where we met with Aunty Aysel Aslan. She was, at that moment, pretty occupied with her embroideries craft and yet managed to friendly greeted us right before her son (Ahmad) came out and help us with our tourist questions. The son's name was Ahmad and he helped Kak Mah in finding her dream Honcho. Well done Ahmad. In the end ties built, relationship engaged, and promises were exchanged, to the point that Aunty Aysel Aslan invited us to stay at her house and promised to cook us food on our next visit. Alhamdulillah. Just like a long lost family. Love it to the bones!! Period!!

It was getting nearly 1 p.m as we started to make our move back to the hotel for self-cook lunch. We decided to cook our lunch from the packed food that were all made in Malaysia. The results were simple but extremely delicious lunch...like ever.

Sebelah petang kami melawat Hamam untuk Turkish Bath. Usai mandi Hamam, we felt energise and ready for tonight's Turkish cultural show and dinner.

That night we went for Cappadocia cultural dance over a free flow dinner that took us more than 2  hours of sheer entertainment for a small fraction of a price. The cultural dance and dinner located in Avanos, a 30 minutes travelling time by car.

We reached back to our hotel at 11.15 pm and were very spent. Next morning more rooftop experiences with more selfies to take....see you there folks...

Pemandangan dari luar jendela bilik. Sesuatu yang sangat indah lagi mengujakan. Terus bergegas naik ke atas rooftop to capture the moment. Jom?!

Kak Mah sedang beraksi dengan camera phone trying to capture the moment while Shimah was immersing herself in the whole new level of experience overlooking the vast small town of Cappadocia filled with hot air balloon in the sky backed by the unveiling sun.

Though with shaky hands due to the morning cold, Kak Mah still a hardworking Mamarazzi. Shimah was smiling from afar. Hi !?

Sempat berselfie depan kedai Uncle Muhammad. Terdapat banyak entrance kecil yang menuju di tengah-tengah opening overlooking the sky sangat mengujakan....

Kak Mah dan Shimah ala-ala duta Carpet Cappadocia. Errr...boleh dapat diskaun tak?

Tak sangka Shimah ni kaki makan buah-buahan. Sekali terserempak dengan gerai buah....terus Shimah hilang kawalan kompas.

Oleh kerana entrance restoran ni macam win so nak selfie jugak lah.

Jom Hamam.....well not just Hamam but Turkish Hamam...Yes Mam Namimah...and Shimah..let's go...

Hidangan makan malam kami...time  ni orang tak ramai lagi. Semua pengunjung perlu menempah terlebih dahulu untuk mengelakkan kekecewaan tidak dapat seat untuk makan malam dan melihat pertunjukan kebudayaan Turkey.

 Berwarna-warni makanan malam kami.

Para pelanggan dah ramai datang dan mengambil tempat duduk masing-masing. Jom selfie dulu. Kak Mah dah tak sabar nak tengok persembahan kebudayaan..terlalu fokus pandangan ke arah dance floor.

My dinner meal and it was kinda tasty. Alhamdulillah.
