The Great Escape: Cappadocia-Turkey & Tromso-Norway 3

Insyaallah...

The Great Escape: Cappadocia-Turkey & Tromso-Norway 2

Good morning folks.

Kami menghabiskan masa di atas rooftop hampir 2 jam basking in the glory of man made fireflies which was breathtakingly mesmerizing. Shimah was, for lack of a better word, captivated by the beauty of everything that cappadocia has to offer and it was just only the beginning of an amazing days ahead. As for Kak Mah, she was busy seizing every moment available via her camera-phone. Hopefully it turns out beautiful.

This very rooftop has a lot of 'photo bombs' and to that we were very glad that we had successfully lose ourselves to the beauty of foreign land...well small town that is...huhu

After hundreds of selfies photos, it was now the time for a brekkie. The hotel restaurant would only open at 8.30 am. as so we would freshened up prior to that.

The food were excellente' (with italian pronunciation) but the taste was rather 'a ok' with no capital 'O'. The cook / waiters were ever friendly and immediately we felt like we were at home. There were many type of cheese served  and you will be spoilt for choice...too bad Mr. yours truly not a big fan to it. Kak Mah did help herself and so did Shimah. Enjoy guys!!

Pagi ini, Kak Mah dan Shimah merancang untuk survey or perhaps getting themselves some nice quilt/bed runner or simply bed cover for their ever interior deco escapade back in Malaysia. I was, just being a professional photographer, capturing every precious moments available.

We stopped at the largest carpet shop in Cappadocia town and being greeted with a smile from Uncle Muhammad. Uncle Muhammad was in his early 70s and he was still hardworking like a youth. Bravo Uncle Muhammad. May your days filled with happiness and glories. Insyaallah. I found out that Uncle Muhammad do provide drone services for aerial photoshoot inside his shop. Feel free to experience it with minimal cost for that exquisite result!! Instagram instant glam!!

Aunty Embroidery a.k.a Mrs. Aysel Aslan
It all started with Kak Mah was looking for a poncho like sweater and we were looking for it at the best price available. On the hunting spree, we stopped at a particular shop just because we were fascinated by the display of souvenirs in front of this particular shop and one moment led to another, we found ourselves inside the shop where we met with Aunty Aysel Aslan. She was, at that moment, pretty occupied with her embroideries craft and yet managed to friendly greeted us right before her son (Ahmad) came out and help us with our tourist questions. The son's name was Ahmad and he helped Kak Mah in finding her dream Honcho. Well done Ahmad. In the end ties built, relationship engaged, and promises were exchanged, to the point that Aunty Aysel Aslan invited us to stay at her house and promised to cook us food on our next visit. Alhamdulillah. Just like a long lost family. Love it to the bones!! Period!!

It was getting nearly 1 p.m as we started to make our move back to the hotel for self-cook lunch. We decided to cook our lunch from the packed food that were all made in Malaysia. The results were simple but extremely delicious lunch...like ever.

Sebelah petang kami melawat Hamam untuk Turkish Bath. Usai mandi Hamam, we felt energise and ready for tonight's Turkish cultural show and dinner.

That night we went for Cappadocia cultural dance over a free flow dinner that took us more than 2  hours of sheer entertainment for a small fraction of a price. The cultural dance and dinner located in Avanos, a 30 minutes travelling time by car.

We reached back to our hotel at 11.15 pm and were very spent. Next morning more rooftop experiences with more selfies to take....see you there folks...

Pemandangan dari luar jendela bilik. Sesuatu yang sangat indah lagi mengujakan. Terus bergegas naik ke atas rooftop to capture the moment. Jom?!

Kak Mah sedang beraksi dengan camera phone trying to capture the moment while Shimah was immersing herself in the whole new level of experience overlooking the vast small town of Cappadocia filled with hot air balloon in the sky backed by the unveiling sun.

Though with shaky hands due to the morning cold, Kak Mah still a hardworking Mamarazzi. Shimah was smiling from afar. Hi !?

Shimah, a DSLR camera, a cuppa and memories to die for in front of her eyes...

Kak Mah too was having her life moment. Kudos Kak Mah..

My version of breakfast @ Cappadocia. Huhu..

Selepas sarapan pagi, it was  merayau time!! Ladies, start your engines..Gaya dua orang kat belakang tu macam nak racing dah.

Sempat berselfie depan kedai Uncle Muhammad. Terdapat banyak entrance kecil yang menuju di tengah-tengah opening overlooking the sky sangat mengujakan....

Kak Mah dan Shimah ala-ala duta Carpet Cappadocia. Errr...boleh dapat diskaun tak?

Tak sangka Shimah ni kaki makan buah-buahan. Sekali terserempak dengan gerai buah....terus Shimah hilang kawalan kompas.

Oleh kerana entrance restoran ni macam win so nak selfie jugak lah.

Aunty Aysel Aslan. This was the moment worth to be kept as a sweet memory. Lain kali datang boleh makan kat rumah makcik ni..Insyaallah.

Kat belakang tu Shimah busy bertukar IG....engaging naw!!

Gila ah terbaek!!

Jom Hamam.....well not just Hamam but Turkish Hamam...Yes Mam Namimah...and Shimah..let's go...

Hidangan makan malam kami...time  ni orang tak ramai lagi.

 Berwarna-warni makanan malam kami.

Para pelanggan dah ramai datang dan mengambil tempat duduk masing-masing. Jom selfie dulu. Kak Mah dah tak sabar nak tengok persembahan kebudayaan..terlalu fokus pandangan ke arah dance floor.

My dinner meal and it was kinda tasty. Alhamdulillah.

We reached hotel kind of late and we shall see you guys again....tomorrow morning....c ya...

The Great Escape: Cappadocia-Turkey & Tromso-Norway

Alhamdulillah, tahun ini saya diberi peluang untuk melakukan pengembaraan sekali lagi...and yes you are correct...another great escape for me...along with the ever the living avid traveller Kak Mah and our new company...drum rolls....Miss Shimah (my bff).

Kali ini, trip kami bertiga melibatkan negara Turkey dan Norway....also Qatar (for transit purpose). Now, a bit about Shimah...she was my shy (not anymore and I found out like 100% during our trip)) and petite classmate during secondary school year and she has been travelling around the world (not with me and Kak Mah yet) until when the unfortunate event happened (go and ask her yourself)....then she decided to follow us this time around...for the 1st time.....hooray Shimah....clap...clap...huhu..

This fantastic trip of ours started with the three of us at the KLIA on the 6th of September 2018 waiting to embark to Doha, Qatar International Airport for transit before we flew to Turkey. We were focusing on having our vacation in Cappadocia. This will be Kak Mah and my second time visit to Cappadocia but for Shimah, it was her first. You guys must be thinking on why the second time for us to Cappadocia? Well let me just put it this way, we left our heart in Cappadocia. Done! Bye.

Now, back to the story telling, the three of us flew from Kuala Lumpur International Airport at about 2.50 am (well nothing is too crazy early for us) and reached Doha, Qatar at about 5.15 am and then flew back again to Turkey at 9.00 am. We manage to reached Turkey at 1.30 pm before flying domestically  (4.55pm) to the nearby airport in Cappadocia. We reached the said airport at 6.05 pm and quickly took the pre-book hotel shuttle to our hotel in Cappadocia in which took us about 30 minutes travelling time. It was a very long trip but we can still smile upon the very entrance of our hotel and the time now was almost 7.30 pm. Almost 20 hours plus of travelling time!! Huhu...Love it!!The hotel was comfy and beautiful and all.....(i'm thinking about it as you read this).....

Lethargic and kind of beaten up, with unpacked luggages....but we decided to just stroll along the small town of Cappadocia for dinner but ended up window shopping (crazy huh) and alas found ourselves having dinner in our hotel room. Huh..so much for tired body. Lidah tidak bertulang lah...

Usai makan, it was time to hit the sack....but before that we promised that esok pagi nak naik rooftop for balloon-gazing  while the morning sun unveiling itself to us ...gila ayat but gila lagi pemandangannya jika para pembaca semua saksikan dengan mata sendiri. Okay folks...see you next day morning....

Kak Mah selesai aktifkan kad debit via phone calls dan tersenyum lebar sambil Shimah menjeling manja tapi dalam otak..'aku ngantuk weh'...takpa nanti dalam flight boleh total revenge.

Sempat berselfie. Kelihatan nun di belakang aktiviti mengonion sedang rancak terlaksana. Bye.

Shimah kembali refreshed ditemani Kak Mah yang ala-ala sleep-sleep chicky. Time  ni menunggu masa untuk check in.

Too sleepy. Heheh. Tup-tup dah sampai di Doha. Win lah. Boleh detect Shimah tengah turun dari kapalterbang menggunakan remote stand because the aeroplane parked at a remote bay. To that we had to take shuttle bus to the main terminal building for immigration clearance before embarking back to Turkey. Jom?!

Yeay!!...Berjaya turun tangga tapi tak senyum sbb tengah catching up her breathe.

Kak Mah dalam shuttle bus from the remote parking towards the main terminal building. Masih mampu tersenyum walaupun ngantuk (snugged in high comfort in the special care seat) dengan tudung hijau yang kelihatan perlu perapian segera. 'Passport I tersedia' mungkin ni monolog dalaman Kak Mah ketika gambar ini diambil.

Shimah macam terlebih semangat...Kus Semangat nih.

Transit di Doha ....sementara tu merayau la dulu....Ok tudung Kak Mah udah dirapikan. Tahniah...

Awas semua...awasssss!! Shimah hanya mampu terselit humble. Kami dah masuk dalam flight. Pilot...please take us to Turkey...Now!!

In-flight dining...rating makanan mmmm no comment.

Shimah ala-ala tersampuk Devil atau tertanjat sebab layan cerita hantu dalam in -light entertainment movies?

 Alhamdulillah...kami selamat mendarat di Turkey.

'Let's get lost' sarung luggage tu yours truly punya and tengah sibuk ambil gambar ladies ni. Jurufoto profesional. Ladies....pose!!

Usai getting our luggages, we went out  and being greeted by the hotel shuttle that would brought us to our hotel.

Kak Mah's favourite thing.

Pemandangan dari atas bilik-bilik hotel kami. Sangat breathtaking and oversee the city of Cappadocia. Nice!!

Sempat berwindow shopping  walaupun dah penat tahap Ultraman dengan lampu flashing red. Kak Mah dan Shimah time ni sedang rancak mengatur strategi membeli-belah untuk esok pagi. Takut teman nengok nye!!??

Okay folks, jumpa esok pagi over the rooftop. Zzzzz
